Asiatic Hornet Trap
Welcome to the Bees86 website. We are located in the Vienne in France and here you will find a little more information about our beekeeping and associated activities.
Currently we run about 12 hives on a couple of sites in our neighbourhood, and as the information grows we will post more!
In addition to keeping bees, we are working on a range of products to help the beekeeper keep their bees safe from the invasive Asiatic Hornet (Frelon Asiatique – Yellow Legged Hornet – Vespa Velutina Nigrothorax)
Our first product is the “Gard’Apis” trap that has been developed to maintain a high eco-credential, in that it does not suffer the by-catch and indiscriminate kill that many other traps exhibit.
